Three layers do the work. A green tea infused memory foam comfort layer sits on top, then a super soft foam in the middle, over a high-density base that provides the actual support. The foam is also ventilated, moving air through the mattress to pull heat away from the sleeping surface, which is a real consideration with memory foam. A poly jacquard fabric cover finishes it in white, with a tight top rather than a pillow top, so the surface stays flat and even across the whole 80 inches.

Every foam in the build is CertiPUR-US certified, and the fire barrier is cotton based. It ships compressed as a bed in a box, so plan to get it into the room first, unroll it on the frame, cut the plastic, and give it time to reach full height before you make the bed. A 10 year manufacturer's warranty covers it. The 8 inch profile is the practical choice for a dorm room, a guest bed, a bunk, or a kid's room, where a thicker mattress sits too high on the frame and makes the guard rail useless.
