Wife stole both desks, now I'm desk-less!
I got two of these desks with the plan to create an extended workstation for my laptop and dual monitors. Assembly was easy – both desks were the same and everything I needed was in the box, even some extra fasteners just in case. Just a tip: don’t over-tighten the screws with a drill since the metal frame can bend if you push too hard. At first, I was a bit hesitant when I took them out of the box because they're pretty lightweight and feel thinner than my usual heavy-duty desks. But once I put them together, the surface felt nice. It strikes a balance, not fancy but not flimsy either. It's sturdier than I thought for how light it is, handling everyday use well without wobbling after tightening everything. That being said, I wouldn't trust it for heavier equipment long-term. The built-in outlets work without a hitch, and the ports powered everything up smoothly. I haven’t had the chance to check how resistant the surface is to scratches over time yet. One downside is the load capacity. At about 220lbs, I'm not comfortable putting my weight on it or stressing it too much. In the end, I didn’t get to use them for my workstation like I planned because my wife fell in love with them. Now, one’s holding her stuff like purses and water bottles, and the other is a dog water station. Looks like I need to find another setup!

They’re smooth but not exactly high-end either. For everyday use, they hold up well, though I wouldn't recommend them for really heavy equipment long-term. The built-in outlets have worked great for me; everything powered up just fine. I haven't tested the surface for scratches, so I can't speak to that. One downside for me is the weight limit—around 220lbs—so I wouldn't want to put pressure on it. In the end, I didn't use them for my workstation as planned. My wife loved the look and ended up claiming both! One desk is now her spot for all sorts of stuff, and the other serves as a water station for our dog. Guess I'll have to find another option for my setup!
