This piece is gorgeous! The wood is heavy and feels solid. My 110-pound German shepherd can stand all the way up in it. The dogs absolutely love it, and it completes the look of my home! Honestly, $300 seems like a steal for the quality. Everyone keeps asking us where we got it. If you're considering it, just go for it! This is one of my favorite purchases from Hawkins Woodshop. My husband and I spent about 2 hours putting it together, and the instructions were straightforward—just make sure to have a screw gun handy!

Almost perfect!
The boxes arrived in great condition with everything well packaged, so nothing was damaged. It was easy to put together, taking me and a friend about 2 hours, and all the pieces fit just right. It's sturdy too! The size is just right for my big dog, which is hard to find in kennel furniture. The only downside is the small hinges and door locks; I wish those were a bit better. I have a 2-year-old English Bulldog and a 1-year-old Cane Corso, so I'm hoping these will hold up. We might end up getting some stronger ones, but we'll see how these do first.

Great for smaller pets
I found this cage to be perfect for my small dog, but I wouldn’t recommend it for bigger pups. It looks nice and fits well in my home. Just make sure your dog is under 100 pounds and can’t find a way to escape! I also appreciated how quickly Hawkins Woodshop processed my refund when I needed it—got my money back in just about five minutes.

Very tall
This was pretty easy to assemble with a little help, especially compared to some other stuff we've built. It arrived really well-packaged to prevent any damage. The only issue I had was with the tiny bolts that go under the shelf and into the top; you'll need a short screwdriver for those. I wish the top was a different color, but I can change that later. The latches are quite small, so if you have a strong dog, they might not hold up. My golden has a good amount of space in there, but she could break the latches if she wanted to. I got this to give her lots of room. On the other side, there are a couple of tiny dogs. Overall, it seems sturdy and looks nice in our living room.
