This is gorgeous! The quality is top-notch, and the wood is nice and heavy. My German shepherd can stand up in it without issue. The dogs absolutely love it, and it ties the room together! I feel like $300 is a steal for how well it's built. Everyone keeps asking us where we got it. If you're on the fence, just go for it! This is hands down my favorite purchase from Hawkins Woodshop. My husband and I spent about 2 hours putting it together, and the instructions were simple—just make sure you have a screw gun handy!

Almost perfect!
The package arrived in great shape—nothing was damaged at all. Putting it together was a breeze, taking about two hours with a little help. Everything fit together as it should, and it feels sturdy! It's the perfect size for my big guy. I had a tough time finding kennel furniture that was spacious enough for him. The only downside is that I'm a bit concerned about the quality of the small hinges and door locks. I've got a 2-year-old English Bulldog and a 1-year-old Cane Corso, so I'm hoping these hold up. We might end up getting some stronger replacements, but we’ll see how these do.

Putting this together was pretty straightforward, especially with a buddy to help. It was really well packed, so nothing was damaged during shipping. The only tricky part was the little bolts that attach the shelf to the top; you'll need a short screwdriver to reach those. I wish the top came in a different color, but I can change that later. The latches are on the small side, so if you have a strong dog, they might not keep them inside. My golden has plenty of space but could easily break the latches if she wanted to. I got this for her to have more room, and the other side is for my tiny dogs. Overall, it’s sturdy and looks great in our living room.

Nice for small dogs
This cage works well for my small dog, but it's not suitable for bigger dogs. It also looks pretty nice as a piece of furniture. Just a heads up, if your dog is over 100 pounds and a little escape artist, it might not be the best fit. I got my refund really quickly, just about five minutes after I requested it, so I appreciated that!
