I’m pretty disappointed with this dresser. I read a ton of reviews saying it looks nice but is tough to put together, and they were right—it was really hard to assemble. There are so many parts, and honestly, you need a drill and an extra set of hands to get it done in a reasonable time. I followed the instructions carefully, but now the dresser feels like it’s falling apart. The drawers either won’t close properly, or the screws come loose when you try to close them, messing everything up. I do think the design is great, but the quality isn’t reliable. I reached out to Colby about my issues, and I’m waiting to see how we can resolve this. Depending on how that goes, I might change my rating. UPDATE: I’m giving them 5 stars because their support team was efficient and got back to me quickly to help find a solution. I wasn’t happy with the dresser, but their customer service has been impressive.

I picked up this LED dresser as an early Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who really needed a dresser after being without one for a while! The drawers are a lot smaller than they look. It’s very hard to put together
I’m super upset, I looked at a lot of reviews which said it’s hard to put together but looks nice. It was very hard to put together, there are a ton of pieces. You absolutely need a drill (and an extra set of hands) other wise it will take you 3x as long. I’m more disappointed that after I followed each instruction the dresser is falling apart. The drawers either don’t shut or the screw falls out when you try to shut it which throws the tracks off. I love the look of it truly, it’s just not dependable or reliable. I did reach out to Hawkins Woodshop and I’m hoping we can discuss the issues and come to a conclusion that works for us both. I will update after that conversation. I feel if people work with me I tend to give them a higher rating and mention the ease or difficulty with Hawkins Woodshop. Update: I am giving them 5 stars due to the efficiency of their support team. I was very unhappy and messaged Hawkins Woodshop and they got back to me in a timely manner and worked with me on a solution. So in my experience I didn’t like the dresser but they get 5 stars for their customer satisfaction in my book.
