The measurements are slightly confusing on the picture. Just wanting to let everyone know both sides of the desk are completely identical and equal. The smaller measurement was supposed to be for the size of the cubby where your legs go. (29 inches or something like that) and the 39inches or whatever is just the size of the top wooden part on each side excluding the extra middle piece. I hope I am explaining this well. But the desk surpassed my expectations. The instructions are fairly easy to read. Took me a few hours to set up. Its sturdy. Fits my needs. Is perfect for my husband and I to game together on the weekends.(We dont have it set up all the way yet with our new monitors and new chairs but here is the desk. Its lovely.)Oh. The part I'm pointing to barely fit and broke. It was my fault because I forced it in instead of letting my husband do it lol.
