I wanted to upgrade my computer desk setup, which is an IKEA Fredde. I found this product and it seemed just right for my needs. Instead of focusing on a dual-screen setup like a lot of others, this one works well for a screen and a laptop or tablet. It's great because it opens up desk space and makes plugging in cables easier. I have a retro computer setup and the adjustable neck lets me move my monitor around easily when I'm using the desk for other things. The laptop holder is nice too. It can hold almost any laptop or tablet and even has room for other stuff like a small game console or some papers. I like that you can use the same bracket for multiple monitors if needed. I didn't realize it at first, but it also has a stationary option if your desk has a grommet. Honestly, I prefer the clamp because it feels really solid. Perfect for my standing desk!
I’m really happy with this setup for my standing desk. It’s sturdy, well made, and the assembly was a breeze with the instructions—took me about 20 minutes. Adjusting it horizontally was easy too, though I did have to slightly loosen a few joints. If you’re using it for a monitor, switching from landscape to portrait is simple, and tilting it back and forth is no trouble at all. On the downside, once you set the height of the arm, you have to use the included allen wrench to make adjustments since it’s not a quick-release setup. The arms only move horizontally, so you can't easily raise or lower the monitor or laptop other than changing the height on the pole. Also, the middle joint only has a limited range of motion—it's not going to allow you to push the monitor back to the pole if it’s bent; I managed to get it about 4 inches from the pole, but barely. Overall, this has been a great solution for me. I originally had two monitors on the desk, and now that I'm using laptops as well, I needed a way to fit everything. This stand worked out perfectly—freed up a lot of space. I was a bit worried about the weight on my thin desktop, but the metal framework of the desk supports it well. I did plan to add some wood for extra support, but I didn’t end up needing it. Just keep in mind that if you're looking for a lot of arm movement like a wall mount TV, this won't give you that, especially if you need everything to sit almost flat. That said, for the price, it’s a solid setup with no complaints from me!

After unboxing:- no visible scratch marks or damages anywhere on the item- comes with all needed parts and an assembly instructionsAssembly:- I just had to look at the instructions and they were clear enough for me to understand how it supposed to go together- I improvised some parts of the assembly because it did not apply to my rig (I needed modifications for my person project)After assembly and installation:- The rig is sturdy- it is very flexible- it has very good wire management- it looks very tidyTips and comments:- So far I haven't had any issues with it and I highly recommend it. It clears a lot of space on your desk specially if you were putting your laptop on your desk traditionally.- If your laptop is not your main computer (or you have a tower) I highly recommend "Synergy" software to be installed on your laptop so you won't need to plug a mouse and a keyboard every time- pay attention to where your laptop's vents are located- In my experience the laptop does not slide on the rig (even though my cat loves to push it)- If you have a cat like me, I highly recommend tightening the pivot so the cat won't push it as easily- I also recommend for cat owners to put the laptop platform at a 45 degree angle, this prevents your pets from turning your stand or laptop into their new favorite chill spot* overall, this was a very good and handy product
