I ordered the aflui Dog Crate Furniture because I wanted something that looked far nicer than a standard wire crate and could blend into the room as a functional piece of furniture. When I opened the box, I was impressed by how well organized everything was. The wooden panels were smooth, evenly finished, and felt solid in the hand, and the hardware was neatly packaged with clear labeling. It even comes with all the tools needed for assembly, which is convenient for anyone who does not want to dig through a toolbox. They also include extra screws and bolts, which is a thoughtful addition because it means you are covered if you drop one or want a spare for later. The light brown finish looks warm and clean, and once assembled, the crate has the appearance of a proper end table rather than a pet enclosure. Assembly took about twenty minutes from start to finish. It is similar to most flat pack furniture, and the key is to loosely fit all the bolts first and only tighten them once everything is lined up. Doing it this way ensures the panels sit flush and the doors open smoothly. One feature I appreciate more than I expected is the adjustable feet on the bottom of the crate. My house is close to one hundred years old, and level is not a word that applies to many of the floors. With the adjustable feet, I can raise or lower each corner just enough to compensate for the uneven surface. This prevents the crate from rocking side to side or front to back, and it makes the entire structure feel more stable and secure. I also love that the design allows you to choose which side the food storage compartment goes on, left or right, depending on your room layout. The double front doors open wide and feel sturdy, and the included stainless steel bowls and storage bag add real convenience. The wooden floor inside is solid and supportive, but because it is wood, I recommend using an absorbent pee pad if your puppy occasionally has accidents to prevent moisture from damaging the surface. Once everything was set up, the crate looked great. It feels well built and stable, and it has a reassuring weight that keeps it from shifting when the dog moves around inside. My dog settled into it quickly, and it provides a cozy, secure space without looking like an eyesore in the living room. It truly feels like an upgrade from a typical crate, both in appearance and functionality. The combination of furniture style design, practical storage, adjustable leveling feet, and thoughtful construction makes this a great choice for anyone who wants something attractive and durable for their small dog.
