After searching for over a year for a stylish headboard that fit my budget, I came across this one while browsing Hawkins Woodshop late at night. The price looked good, it seemed high-end, and the reviews were encouraging, so I decided to go for it. I’m really glad I did because I LOVE this headboard! It completely exceeded my expectations. I chose the white vinyl for my queen bed to match my decor better. At first, I was a bit unsure about the 'vinyl,' but it's more like faux leather—smooth and has enough padding to be comfy to lean against. The legs lined up perfectly with my bed frame, and setting it up took around 30 minutes. It feels sturdy and doesn't wobble or hit the wall when I get in and out of bed. My only suggestion would be to add a thin strip of stick-on felt furniture protector on top of each leg where it connects to the headboard to prevent any scratches on the wall. I’m giving this a 5-star rating since there’s no option for 4.5. The box arrived with a tear on top (you can see in the pictures), but that wasn’t Hawkins Woodshop's fault. The headboard itself is really nice, and my wife and I are quite happy with it. We’ll see how it holds up over time. My half-star deduction is because the back braces felt a bit flimsy—they looked like painted plywood and were pretty light. I think MDF would have been a better choice for sturdiness, though it would be heavier. No worries, though; if the braces don’t cut it, you can easily grab some MDF pieces at a local hardware store. Installing it on the Best Price Mattress Queen Bed Frame was straightforward. I did have to run to the hardware store for a nut because one we got was threadless, which took a moment to figure out. I also picked up some bigger washers since I thought they’d distribute the pressure better without damaging the wood or frame. After trying both the original washers and the larger ones, I'm glad I went with the bigger ones, as they help keep the headboard stable. I’m sharing photos of the final setup, the faulty nut, the washers, the instructions included, and the condition of the box. I'm really pleased with this purchase! It's even nicer than I thought it would be. The adjustable height feature was a big plus for me since my bed frame is pretty high, reaching about 34” with the box spring and mattress. I struggled to find a headboard that would fit right, but this one worked perfectly on the tallest setting. Putting it together was straightforward, and all the hardware came with it. I did need longer screws to attach it properly because my bed frame is a bit unusual.
