Perfect Fit for Our Small Space!
We have a compact laundry area that you enter from the garage. We used to have a worn-out white plastic shoe rack and a small step stool to sit on, which was getting annoying. I got two of these: one white for the bathroom and a brown one to go with my bedroom decor. They were easy enough to put together once I figured out a few things that weren't mentioned in the picture-only instructions. Here are some tips that helped me assemble them in about 10 minutes: 1. Don’t tighten any screws until all of them are in place. Start with the seat upside down on the floor. 2. For the legs, the two holes without countersunk holes go at the top on the inside of the upside-down seat. The rounded ends of the legs and the countersunk holes should be facing out. Insert the short bolts from the outside and attach the nuts, then hold the nut with a wrench while tightening from the outside with the allen wrench. 3. For the shelves, take one and hold it upside down. The cam with the screwdriver slot should face the ceiling during assembly. Insert the cam into the shelf’s hole and align it with the leg's hole, then use the allen wrench to tighten it almost fully. Repeat for the other shelf. Some screws took a bit of effort with my fingers but worked fine with the wrench. 4. Finally, tighten all the screws completely and you're done! These stools are for holding shoes and help keep my entryway tidy. I'm happy with them!
