I needed to get 10 chairs before Thanksgiving, and I was looking for a good deal since I had to order so many. I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was so low, but the reviews seemed decent, so I decided to give them a shot. I ordered them on Sunday, and they arrived by Tuesday and Wednesday, as they split the shipment due to the size. My husband put them together, and it only took him a bit less than an hour for all 10! Just what we needed
I searched for months to find chairs that would go with our old oak table. We still have three of the original chairs, but they’re not in great shape anymore. After returning a few that didn't work out (with a hefty return fee, but not from Hawkins Woodshop) and wasting way too much time shopping around at local furniture stores, I finally stumbled upon these chairs. I snagged them during the Black Friday sale and couldn't be happier. The packaging was impressive. Each piece was wrapped separately, so there was no chance of any damage. All the hardware needed for each chair was included and organized, which was a real lifesaver compared to figuring out different screws and bits from other orders. Assembling them looked tricky at first because of the leg angles, but once I centered the seat and used the tab guide in the back before screwing it in, it went smoothly. The screws are solid and even had some Loctite to keep them secure. The first chair took a bit to put together, but once I figured it out, the other three were a breeze. We did notice a slight wobble in two of the chairs, but it was easy to fix using the built-in foot adjusters. I'm overall very pleased with how they look and feel. These chairs are comfortable and complement the table. I'm glad I made this purchase.
