Versatile and Functional Desk
I picked up this desk during a sale at Hawkins Woodshop, and I've been really happy with it for the past few months. At 5ft 2in, I find it useful in different ways: I keep the height low and can slide an ottoman under it to use it as a writing desk in the living room or even for light studying while I watch TV. It fits snugly in tight spots, so it works great in a guest bedroom too when you set it at full height. In my home office, it serves well as an extra desk for all my work stuff. The lower height is for kids, but it’s also good for most adults when raised. The cubby at the front is deep and holds quite a bit of supplies, and the surface is big enough for a book, a lamp, and even a laptop. The desk feels sturdy even when I load it up, and I'm pleased with how compact and functional it is. Overall, a great purchase!

Perfect for My IBM Selectric III
I just got my table today and I’m really happy with it. I needed something for my IBM Selectric III typewriter, which is pretty hefty at 48 pounds. The typewriter fits perfectly on the table, and I can stash my manuals and ribbons in the storage area—bonus! I attached a video showing how solid it is; I shook it a bit, and there’s no wobbling, so I'm not worried about it tipping over. I'm 5'6" and weigh 225#, and I found there’s enough room for my legs under the table. The height at max leg extension works well for me, and I still have a good bit of space on either side. Just a heads up, it doesn’t come with wheels, so moving it around might be tricky. It slides a bit on smooth surfaces, but since I won’t be shifting it much, it’s not a big deal. I gave it five stars because it's sturdy and looks nice. Just pay attention to how to attach the legs because I missed the diagram and had to switch them around. Having a buddy help with the legs during assembly made things easier too. The table has a nice mid-century vibe, which goes great with my typewriter. I would suggest this for anyone looking for a table for their typewriter, sewing machine, or similar crafts.

I needed a desk that was durable, the right height for a 1st grader, with at least 1 shelf for books, and a good price. There are plenty of inexpensive desks out there with no shelves for books, but adding a shelf or drawer seems to triple the price! This desk met all my requirements. Spacious shelf, spacious surface for doing homework, great price, and sturdy like you'd expect from a school desk. The legs come in 2 pieces so you can put them together at the height you want it, from 27-31 inches. The top is already screwed together, so once you have the legs together at the right height, all you have to do is attach the legs to the top. The directions show it being put together upright, so one person needs to hold the legs while a 2nd person screws the top to the legs. But I easily put it together by myself, by laying the top on the ground and laying the legs onto the top. Shipping was fast, too. Very satisfied, highly recommend!

Being 5ft 2in adult, it has multiple uses:You can keep the height low and scoot an ottoman underneath it to use as a writing desk in a living room or study. I can watch tv and use the desk to eat from or do some light studying, comes in handy that way. The desk can fit in a tight space so you can put inside a guest bedroom at full height. In a home office you can use this as a secondary desk to hold more stuff as you work from home. The shorter height accommodates children but at the taller height it can easily be used by most adults. The cubby hole area built into the front of desk is deep and can hold a good amount of supplies. The surface area is sufficient for many items (book, small desk lamp, and even a laptop). The desk is quite sturdy even when top loaded and will meet your everyday needs. I am very pleased with the small footprint and with the functionality of this desk. It is a very good investment.
