Order bigger than your bed
I really like this blanket, but I'm giving it 4 stars only because of the size. I first got a queen, and it was too small for my queen bed, hanging over the sides by just 5-6 inches. I tried it sideways, but then the pattern looked off. It might fit a twin better, honestly. But Hawkins Woodshop was great and refunded me for the blanket, so I switched to the king size. The king is still not quite as wide as my flat sheet or muslin blanket underneath, but at least it looks nicer. These blankets seem a bit small for US beds. Aside from that, the blanket is soft and feels great. The pattern is playful and vibrant, and even the dark teal side held up well when I used a little bleach while washing. I’ve only washed it once and it stayed in good shape, with no pilling or shrinking. It's not warm, but I got it for summer, and I can see it being cozy on the couch during the winter. Just be aware it might not keep you warm in a cold room. I paid $65 for the queen and $71 for the king, which are solid prices for what you get.
