I wanted to upgrade the chairs we've had since getting married 21 years ago—they were literally falling apart! These chairs are just what I needed! They're sturdy and simple to put together. I chose the white ones with padded seats, and they're super comfy. The back has a slight recline, which is for those long card-playing nights! They’re made of wood, but the finish seems a bit like a plasticky sealant that should make cleaning easy. And the price was! I found the same chairs for $92 each at a furniture store. We ended up buying 12 for all our family gatherings, and I'm pleased with this purchase! UPDATE: A year later and they’re still in great shape, standing up well to daily use. Cleaning the fabric and wood is a breeze. Just a heads up: the seat cushions don't have support underneath, so they’ve started to sag a bit. We’re planning to add some thin support boards underneath. Even with that, I think these are an buy, and with those adjustments, I know these beautiful chairs will last for many more years. UPDATE 2023: We never got around to the seat supports, but the chairs are still holding up well! They’re easy to clean, the cushion fabric still looks great, and they feel just as sturdy as when we got them. Highly recommend!
