Sturdy Frame That's Perfectly Low to the Ground!
Just wanted to share an update: things are still going great with this frame, and my sleep has improved since switching. I can jump onto it without worrying about it collapsing, and I definitely recommend it if you want a solid base instead of a regular box spring. No slipping from my mattress, which was a problem with the old one. It's held up well since I got it. I like that it's lower than my previous 9-inch box spring, making it a lot easier to get on and off the bed. My mattress is nearly flat now, too, unlike before when it had a dip from the broken box spring. One thing to note is that while it’s mostly quiet, you might hear some noise if you jump on it or shake it. I don’t mind that, but if noise is a concern for you, maybe look elsewhere. If you're after a solid foundation, though, I still fully recommend it. Everything was included in the box, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hardest part was lifting my mattress to switch it out. There aren’t too many screws (they’re all hex screws), so it’s straightforward to assemble. Just be ready to lift a bit and have enough space; I had to work over my bed since my room is small. Using your own tools can speed things up, but the one that comes with it does the job. Once it’s together, it feels sturdy. Since it doesn’t have springs, it’s not the bounciest, but the all-metal build feels much more durable and should last a long time. The lower height makes getting out of bed much easier, too. I’ll update if I run into durability issues, but for now, it feels like it’ll hold up just fine.
