I did a lot of research before deciding on this cabinet. It's nice to see it made in Vietnam instead of China for a change. Assembling it was fairly straightforward, and it looks really nice once it's together. The alignment of the doors was a bit tricky and took some time, and even after trying hard, it isn't. They do align reasonably well, but since the cabinet isn't perfectly square, there’s a slight mismatch somewhere that you have to figure out. I put together two of these, and both had that little squareness issue, so it's not just my skills! I wish I could find a solid wood option or at least one with some solid wood parts, but the prices for real wood furniture are crazy. Just a tip: be careful when attaching the door hinges on the sides, as they seem to be prone to stripping compared to the doors. The doors hold the fasteners well, but the side pieces are softer and easier to work with. We like this cabinet enough that we might get a third one. And just so you know, don’t buy into the reviews saying it takes only 20 minutes to assemble; you'll spend most of that time carefully unpacking and organizing the pieces.
