I had a hard time picking the right bistro set for my porch but I finally went with the "New/white," which features a unique tulip design. The assembly was straightforward, with all the necessary tools and parts included, even extras to fix any wobbles from uneven ground. The set looks bright white against my black wrought iron railing, which I like a lot. The seats have a nice concave shape that feels comfortable. I've read some reviews that called other sets "child’s furniture," but this one feels like it’s meant for adults. It's perfect for enjoying my coffee in the mornings or some hot cocoa in the autumn evenings. The construction feels solid, and I noticed there were no sharp edges on any of the parts. I did hire someone to put it together, and we found just a small spot that might need a touch-up with some paint, but that's minor. Everything was well-protected in bubble wrap for shipping, which shows Hawkins Woodshop puts thought into their products. No scratches or dents at all. It's made from cast aluminum and has been weather-proofed and rust-proofed; cleaning is easy with just a damp cloth for any dust or spills. I love this set so much! The height of the chairs and table is just right, not too high or low. I’m glad I compared dimensions of different sets before making my choice since some chairs can be a couple of inches shorter. Plus, there’s a hole for an umbrella, but I won't need that since I'm planning to use a lantern as a centerpiece for the holidays. I’m also thankful for Colby's quick responses to all my questions. I can’t wait to enjoy many cups of coffee and chats with neighbors at this lovely set.
