A great table with extra space!

This table is just what I needed! It provides plenty of extra room for my laptop and mouse. It's light enough to move around easily, and putting it together was a breeze. I did notice a bit of paint in the threaded inserts, but the screws went in without any issue. A tip for anyone assembling it: don’t tighten the frame screws until everything is fitted together; just snug them up first, then align everything before tightening. One suggestion for Hawkins Woodshop: moving the outlet over a couple of inches would make it easier for larger laptops, as it fits my 15.6 inch well but could use a bit more room for a 17 inch. Also, a small basket to hang off the back for charging cables would be a nice addition!

Watch out for the split tabletop!

I got this table as a temporary fix for working from home and had high hopes. I needed something adjustable that I could use from the couch with a full-size keyboard and mouse. While it was pretty easy to put together, the first thing that surprised me was that the tabletop comes in two separate panels. I wish that hadn't been hidden in the product pictures, as it does change the overall look. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's worth mentioning. Putting it together was simple except for the screws on the power panel. The tool that came with it just didn’t work well, so I grabbed a proper Philips screwdriver and that did the job. Once it was all set up, it works fine—my monitor connects easily and my phone charges well. The feet come with options for screwing in pads which is handy for different surfaces. It has a slight wobble when in use, especially with weight on it, but it's not a huge issue. On the bright side, it’s wider than I expected, fitting my keyboard and mouse just right, with a little bit hanging off. It’s great for my laptop too. I'd say it would be better if it were a bit wider and deeper, but overall, it’s a decent budget choice for anyone needing a workspace.
