I was really drawn to this table and had a few questions before buying. Reviews can help, but everyone's needs are different, so I was a bit hesitant. I'm glad I went for it! The size is just what I was looking for, and it's light enough to move around easily. The quality surprised me; it feels sturdy and is worth it. It's great for small spaces, tucking right under the sofa, and it fits perfectly in my bedrooms when turned sideways. I saw there's a version with outlets after I ordered, which would have been handy. My granny tends to sleep and eat in the living room on the couch and to avoid her from having to sit plates on her lap to eat, I bought this for her to use as a meal tray to have stability and be more comfortable as she ate on the couch while watching her westerns. It is a sturdy, lightweight and easy for her to pull towards her and it looks nice. It would've been nice if the top was wider and had enough room to hold both a plate, a drink and the remote but the fact that it probably wasn't made to be a dinner tray as opposed to a side time and the fact that she now has enough space for her plate to eat, I'm not complaining and neither is she. I'd recommend for a side table or a laptop table or a meal tray but if you are seeking a meal tray that has enough room to also hold other items besides a plate, this isn't wide enough but if only using for a side table or to work on a laptop and you don't need any other room, this will be perfect for you.
