I assembled this bed by myself, and it only took me a few hours. The instructions were really clear! It's sturdy, and I'm pleased with it! The shelf and USB/plug port are features! My California king mattress is a pillow top, so it does sit a bit high for the headboard, but I’m okay with that. The sturdiness is my favorite part! Happy with my purchase!

This bed frame is solid and pretty sturdy since it's made of metal. Just a heads up if you're prone to stub your toes, it might not be the best fit for you. My mattress hasn’t slipped at all, but the thickness is something to keep in mind when you buy. Since this frame doesn’t need a box spring, it creates a little gap between the headboard and the frame, causing some pillows to slip through. I solved that by using a bolster. The shelf is perfect for books, charging my phone, or a spot for my glasses at night. A great deal!

Good quality bed, sturdy - the bed frame is metal, so if you're the type to stub your toes, this may not work for you. No issues with the mattress staying in place. Keep in mind the size of the mattress when purchasing, as the one I have isn't the thickest - since this frame doesn't require a box spring, this creates a gap between the headboard & the frame, so pillows may fall through. I've just used a bolster to keep this from happening. The shelf is great for books, charging your phone, or just to have a dedicated spot to put your glasses at the end of the night. Great value!

The frame is sturdy and didn’t take long to build by myself. Definitely doesn’t make any noise when moving around so no squeaking..
