I've been wanting one of these chairs for ages and finally decided to get one. Best choice I've made! I love clear and glass furniture, and I first saw these in a store years ago in Vegas. They had them for around $500 each, which was a bit much for me at the time. Fast forward a few years, and I found this one from Hawkins Woodshop, but I hesitated because I’m a bit heavier, usually around 140-170 pounds, and I've had other chairs that just weren't sturdy enough. But this one is holding up great! I got it for my work filming area, which is all about glass and white decor. I paired it with a faux fur throw, rug, glass coffee table, and a tufted white sofa, and it really makes my space feel special. I'm even thinking of getting the armless version for my desk. If you're on the fence about this chair, go for it! It's sturdy, looks beautiful, and is for accenting any room.

This acrylic chair is made with a single piece of injection molding, so there are no glued sections, which is nice. Acrylic is stronger than regular plastic, and while polycarbonate is tougher, it can discolor in sunlight. This chair keeps a nice, glass-like appearance. I was worried about how sturdy it would be, but it's solid! I’m 5'8" and weigh 160 lbs, and it feels rock solid even with guests over 200 lbs sitting on it without any issues. As for comfort, I usually sit on Herman Miller chairs, so while this one isn’t as plush, it’s still fine for dining and I could sit on it for a while without any problem. It just doesn't match the comfort of my Herman Miller or couch. Pros: 1) Beautiful design—everyone who visits compliments it; it’s the first thing they notice in my dining room, especially paired with my glass dining table. 2) Sturdy enough for almost everyone. 3) Good for outdoor use without fading. 4) More translucent than polycarbonate chairs. 5) Scratch-resistant as acrylic is tougher than normal plastic. Cons: 1) Not as sturdy as a polycarbonate version, but still strong enough. 2) Comfort could be better, but it’s acceptable.

This is an acrylic chair created with a single injection molding process, so everything feels solid and there's no glue holding parts together.
