I noticed that the beige or 'white' version of this chair is around $20 cheaper than the brown and black ones. I bought this chair four years ago, and while it's true that it has its flaws—like some parts ripping, not being the comfiest, and lacking lumbar support—it’s been surprisingly tough. I pushed it to its limits, laying back in it, sitting cross-legged, and even using the arms for support (I'm 180 lbs), and it held up for four years despite all that. The arms eventually started to loosen, but honestly, I was pretty hard on it. If you’re a bit gentler, this chair could last you a long time. I suggest getting a seat cushion and some lumbar support. I had another chair from a different brand that fell apart in less than a month under my usage, so this one has my vote for durability. I bought it because the arms connect well to the back, providing decent support when leaning back. If you're just looking for an affordable chair that works, this is the one. It's not perfect, but not a one-star product. Edit: I’ve noticed they've upgraded the design to a full metal frame, so it looks like durability will improve even more. With that change, I think it's worth the five stars!
