A simple and functional table
This table was really easy to put together. The delivery went smoothly, and it showed up in condition. It looks great and fits nicely with my modern decor. The black finish and grain design are a nice combo. I needed a small table to hold my water and tea mug because I was sharing a shelf with two potted plants, and the 20” height is just right. I moved my snake plant to be next to me but away from its light source. There’s still enough room for a plate, two drinks, a small moisturizer, and a weekly pill organizer. If you have a compact entertainment center, this would be for a game console, or even a monitor, but I wouldn't put a TV on it. The table arrived in one box, and the price is for what you get. The 50lb limit works just fine for its intended use. Just a heads up: when attaching the legs, don't expect them all to fit flush against the tabletop; a few millimeters might stick out. Also, if you have little ones, remember the corners are sharp. As for improvement, I wish it was about 6 inches taller to align better with my couch armrest—though I know couch heights vary. I've included some photos to show how I'm using it and give you a size reference with a standard plate, notebook, and coasters. In the box, you'll find four legs wrapped in styrofoam and the tabletop. Each leg has a screw already attached, making assembly straightforward. Just be careful when you install the legs—turn them slowly to avoid wobbling and only screw them in a couple of turns to avoid damaging the underside. Also, I suggest using a coaster with hot items to prevent scorching and avoid letting any liquids sit on the surface.
