Better than expected!
This is the perfect size for using with folding bag or camp chairs. It's light, making it so easy to carry on my shoulder along with two chairs and a kid's chair. Honestly, it's even lighter than our chairs! When folded, it's also smaller than I thought it would be. I usually keep our chairs in the back of my car, so adding this is no trouble at all. I actually just used it today while visiting my mother-in-law, whose kitchen is under construction. We picked up lunch after running errands, and since her house was a mess with workers around, we decided to have a little picnic. It was great— I managed to carry everything for me, my son, and my mother-in-law in one trip from the van! Setting up and taking down was a breeze because it's so light. I will say there’s a bit of a trick to getting the parts on, but I can see with more use, I’ll be able to assemble and disassemble it in under a minute. It met all my expectations and then some! I can’t believe how sturdy yet lightweight it is! I plan to use this a lot for outdoor lunches, homeschool activities outside, card games (maybe with a cloth to catch anything that falls through), and camping trips! I’m excited about it!

This camping table is exactly what I needed! PROS: - It's super lightweight. - easy to set up; a kid could do it. Once you learn how, you'll have it ready in under 30 seconds. - It’s sturdy once it's all put together. - Comes with a handy zippered bag about the size of a camp chair. - Great height and size for my two-burner Coleman stove with a small propane bottle beside it. - Cleaning it is a breeze, just wipe it down. CONS: - The only issue is that, if you want to move it, you can only pick it up from the two ends since the rest of the slats sit on the frame. OVERALL, I’ve always trusted Coleman for their solid products and this table is no exception. The design is thoughtful and it feels great for the price, so I’m thinking about picking up a second one!

I needed a table for my balcony, and I also needed a table for when I go camping. I decided on the Coleman Compact Table as a way to get both. Not only was it really well priced, to my delight it is also really well made. The way it goes together is pretty interesting; the legs fold out similar to a camp chair and are braced, and then the table top is aluminum slats that seems to be held together with elastic ties. So you just stretch them over the ends and the whole thing snaps together in about 2 seconds. It is really lightweight, and surprisingly very stable despite that. I saw a few questions asking if it would support a grill; personally I'd have no issue putting a grill on it. It seems more than sturdy enough for that. I would say that it isn't study enough to stand on, even for kids. For drawbacks, the only thing I don't like is the bracing blocks you from putting your knees under it when you are sitting at it. However, given the portability of it that is a small compromise. It is actually a really cool looking table, very sleek in person. Given the price point, the quality is really good. I give it a full 5 star rating.
