I took my time looking for the right desk—something that had more width and depth than what I have now but still fit in my cozy apartment. I can’t go for an 'L' or 'U'-shaped desk right now, but I can definitely see myself using this one even in a bigger space. The thing that stood out to me is the nice space between the desktop and the first shelf. I use a mount for dual monitors and thought 18.9” would be okay, but it turned out to be 19.5”—a great surprise that allowed me to position my monitors better. The quality is impressive for what I paid; the metal frame feels thick and solid, way sturdier than similar desks. Putting it together was a breeze, and I did it solo without any trouble, plus I loved that they included some extra parts—considerate! My only minor complaint is that the shelves are just 6” deep instead of the 9” the pictures suggested. It doesn't bother me, but if you're looking to store larger books or binders, they might not be the best. They're for smaller items like decor or supplies, though. I'm really happy with this Aquzee computer desk. It arrived in shape with no scratches or marks. The rustic wood finish is nice too. It took me about 30-40 minutes to put together by myself, and they even included tools like an open end wrench and an Allen wrench, which was handy. The long bolts made the driver bit a lifesaver for my hands. One tip: don’t tighten all the bolts at first—just leave them a little loose. It makes lining everything up way easier. The 55" wide desk gives me plenty of room, plus it's a good height. The shelves are sturdy and well-made, though there's a small gap between the shelf backs and bottoms that might bug some folks. Overall, this desk is solid, has a nice modern look, and I’d buy it again. Just wish they had a way to hide the wires, but I figured that out by using a raceway from my old desk.
