I've been using this chair for about a year, and it's been fantastic. I don’t get some of the complaints about its height or durability. Finding chairs that can handle more weight can be tough, and I'm 5'10" and over 300 lbs, so I need something solid. Most options only support around 250 lbs and wear out quickly, but this one has held up great. It’s still just as sturdy as when I first got it. While it might not be the most stylish chair out there, it’s acceptable for everyday use, especially working from home. The seat height and arm adjustability are good, the seat is wide, and it doesn’t recline too easily, which is for back support. I’m planning to buy another one for my new office setup. Funny enough, my new workplace has Hon chairs too, but sadly, not the heavy-duty version, so I’ll be getting this chair for my office as well. Thanks, Hawkins Woodshop!

This chair is pretty great and was easy to put together. I did notice one issue with the metal brace underneath the seat that holds the back support. It was angled forward, likely because the manufacturer used the same part for different models, so it didn't fit perfectly. I managed to fix it by adding two washers to some screws to help line everything up—it added just a bit of height to each. Most people probably won't even notice this problem, but being a design engineer, these details jump out at me. Also, be prepared for some noise from the seat when you first get off; it sounds a bit like crinkling plastic bags. It's not too bad, and the noise faded after a few days. Right now, I'm sitting in this chair and really enjoying it. Worth the price!
