Not as slippery and thicker than most
These mats are sturdy, thick, and easy to clean. They aren't completely nonskid, but they definitely stay put better than those flimsy plastic ones. I also like the little decals in the corners that tell you what to use them for—like fruit, vegetables, pork, chicken, and beef. The colors are bright too.

Love these cutting boards
These are replacement cutting boards for my older ones that are the same type. I have used my older ones for years and it’s time to retire them. These mats are tough and durable. The non skid backing keeps the mats in place when cutting and chopping. The mats can be easily picked up and items easily dumped into mixing bowls as the mats bend and are flexible. I like the fact that they are light weight, thin and don’t take a lot of space in my cupboard. Also they are coded so that you can use them for similar foods so as not to cross contaminate foods. They need to be well dried before stacking them for storage.
