Cute and designed well
I thought it would be hard to assemble, but it wasn’t. It takes some time, but the instructions are clear and show how to position everything right. It feels sturdy and fits perfectly with my modern farmhouse style. Just a heads up, I got two 8” memory foam mattresses. You can go thicker for the top, but anything more than 8” on the bottom won’t fit in the hideaway. Happy I figured that out!

I'm really pleased with this daybed. It feels sturdy and well-built—both the metal parts and MDF seem solid. I found a good spot for it despite my uneven floor, and it ended up being level and stable. I didn’t hear any noise from it, so that’s good. The sides look nice with a leather-like vinyl, and they should be easy to clean if needed. If you don’t like visible screws and bolts, this might not be the best fit for you, but it doesn’t bother me too much. I’ll only be using it a few times a year for my nieces, so it’s not a big deal. Assembly was a workout—needs two people to bring it inside unless you want to carry it in pieces like I did. Doing it alone took me a few hours, but laying all the parts out helped since not everything was labeled clearly. I went with two 8-inch mattresses, and while they fit, I should’ve gone with a 6-inch for the bottom because it’s a tight squeeze making the trundle slide out. The top mattress works okay at 8 inches, but I think a 10-inch would be better for that part. Overall, I’d recommend this daybed to friends with similar needs.

For the money this is an incredible bed. We purchased it for our granddaughters when they visit. We were impressed with the sturdiness of the bed and even the trundle. It took us a little over an hour to put the bed together and that included the time we took to place the items in groups. After that, it was easy to put together. We like the fact there is a way for our granddaughters to charge their Yoto machines on the headboard as they aren’t old enough for phones. I would definitely recommend this bed. The only thing, we made sure the mattress was 10 inches in height and wish we would have purchased a mattress with a 12 inch height.
