Stylish and Sturdy Media Stand
I recently got a media stand from Hawkins Woodshop that looks great and is strong without breaking the bank. I chose it for my office because it fit my existing furniture well and could hold my Onkyo receiver. It’s definitely sturdy enough for that! The shelves are generously sized, for my Onkyo 900 series receiver, and the other shelves are great for displaying a few extra items. Assembly was a breeze, no issues at all, and everything fit together nicely the first time. The top and bottom shelves hold most of the weight, but if you follow the instructions, the middle shelves should work well too. Just a heads up, if you’re using banana plugs for the speakers, make sure to measure the depth so it fits right. I love that it’s easy to hide wires too—I attached some tie wrap blocks to the back for a cleaner look. The Dark Walnut finish is nice; it looks good and doesn't feel cheap at all. It comes with leveling feet for hard floors, which is a great touch. Overall, I’m pleased with this stand; it’s attractive, solid, and a deal!

I’m not easily impressed, but this stand really did the trick. When the delivery arrived, it felt solid and hefty, which is usually a good sign. The packaging did a great job protecting everything during transit. Each component was clearly labeled, and there was a nice diagram guiding the assembly steps. I did struggle a bit with aligning some of the bolts for the shelves at first, but once a couple were in place, the rest came together smoothly. It's sturdy and looks way more expensive than what I paid. The finish on both the metal frame and shelves is. Having owned some well-known brand stands before, I can say this one matches up well. You can tell I'm satisfied with this purchase, and I'd buy from this brand again. It took me a bit longer to put together than some reviews mentioned, but hey, it gave me an excuse to skip mowing the lawn for another day.

This unit is sturdy and has a nice look to it. There's plenty of room for my amp, sub, and center speaker. Just keep in mind that the shelves can only be adjusted by about 5cm because of the trapezoidal shape. Other than that, I’d give this entertainment unit a solid 5 stars!
