I was on the hunt for a WFH desk that offered enough space between my monitors and me, so I quickly ruled out the 18-20" options. I even tried rearranging my workspace to simulate a 24" desk, but it still felt cramped. Then I stumbled upon this dining table while searching, and I'm thrilled with my find. I would have gladly paid more for it. The 30" depth is fantastic for my setup. I can comfortably fit my two large monitors, a laptop dock, speakers, a landscape notepad, and a few other items without feeling squished. The width is just okay for my needs, but that's more about my monitors than the table itself. What impresses me is its sturdiness. The thick metal legs and a half-inch solid wood tabletop make it feel durable. The entire top is finished nicely, which was a nice surprise. I even tried to scratch it to test the finish, and it held up perfectly. The support bar underneath is great too; it works as a little footrest. And assembling it was a breeze—10 minutes tops, even on my own in a tight space, including unboxing. If you're considering it for dining, I think it works well for smaller areas, but keep in mind it might not fit four people as shown. Two would have to sit on the ends.

I'm not sure what the top is made from, but it feels solid enough. I’d recommend it! One more thing—while it may be labeled as a "dining table for 4," I think it’s a bit small for that, but it's for my computer setup.
