Beautiful and sturdy
This dining set is sturdy once assembled and looks really nice. We went with the larger version that's supposed to seat 8, and yeah it does if you squeeze two per side, but honestly it's more comfortable as a 6 seater. The chairs that come with it are solid, and putting everything together wasn't too complicated. One thing—make sure the table legs with the two holes are facing inward before you screw them in or you'll have to take it all apart again. The set ships in three boxes (one big one for the table, two smaller for chairs). Our boxes took a beating in transit but the furniture itself arrived without any real damage. Happy with how it turned out.

I had been considering a new dining set for months, after lots of research committed to this and I have no regrets. They arrived in a week and were in 2 boxes - the heavier being 71#, the other was 35. Assembly was easy but beware step 1 of table assembly was the most difficult. Screw in the long screws to the short wood section first and ensure the support holes on the legs are facing inward. Looks great in my space, exactly what I was looking for. Even with the delivery charge, the overall price was comparable to other options.

I have never purchased furniture on Hawkins Woodshop before, so buying this table was a gamble for me. After sifting through a bunch of options on here, I landed on this table and I am so glad I did! This table is strong and sturdy. The wood is good quality and has weight to it, and you'd think this table would be worth $300 plus. The package was delivered in two portions. At first I freaked out because the first package only had the chairs, and so I sent a message to Hawkins Woodshop and told them about my worries of not receiving the table, but Hawkins Woodshop got back to me right away and assured me that sometimes the packages come in two, and they were right. I received my table the very next day. Hawkins Woodshop was so sweet and you dont really find customer service like that often here on this website, so kudos to them!! 10/10
