Great table - a bit heavier than I thought

I really love how it looks in my kitchen! The drop leaves are handy when I need more space. It took me about an hour to put together, and I’m not the most handy person. I suggest watching the 2-minute video, as the instructions are a bit tricky and aren’t detailed. The diagrams are hidden inside the column, which was unexpected. First, I attached the legs using the Allen wrench, but had to put the washers and hex nuts on each of the 4 long screws one by one. I was confused at first because there were already assembled bolts that looked the same. The four-piece set anchors the rectangular top to the column, and then you flip it over to attach it to the table. The eight-piece set secures everything in place. Just remember to set it all up upside down, and make sure the movable slots have the holes facing up to hold the leaves. The only tool missing was a small Phillips screwdriver. Overall, the table and chairs are sturdy, and I’m pleased with the quality and price for the three pieces. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with this set. It arrived in three boxes almost a week early. Packing is excellent. I was shocked to see how well made this was, especially considering that it was fairly inexpensive (under $300). I was intimated when I first start assembling this, just by the number of bolts. All I could imagine was that nothing was going to line up.... Wrong! Every single hole lined up in the table and both chairs. I was able to look down the hole and could see that I wasn't screwing the bolt into some hole, it has a steel sheath thing in there. We are using this in a small studio apartment for my mother. Perfect fit, perfect off white creamy color. She loves it!
