A dropleaf is the honest answer to a small dining room. Fold the leaf down and the table tucks against a wall for coffee and a laptop. Raise it and you have a full 42 inch round top with room for a real meal. That flexibility is why this three piece set works in apartments and breakfast nooks where a fixed table would be permanently in somebody's way.

The table and both chair frames are built from Asian rubber wood, a dense hardwood chosen for durability rather than for looks alone, and everything is finished in linen white for a clean, coordinated set. The chairs are upholstered in faux leather, which wipes down after dinner instead of holding a stain, and their backrests are shaped to follow the curve of the spine so nobody slides forward halfway through a long meal.

Measure against these numbers before you order. The table is 42 inches long by 42 inches wide and stands 29.5 inches tall. Each chair is 21 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 38 inches tall. Leave yourself clearance to pull the chairs out, and keep in mind that a round top seats people more comfortably in tight quarters than a square one of the same footprint, since nobody ends up stuck at a corner.

The set arrives in three separate boxes rather than one heavy crate, which makes carrying it up a staircase or through a narrow doorway a one person job. Solid product - heavier than expected

Super cute in my kitchen and I love that I can drop the leafs for more room if needed. Took me an hour to assemble and I am not handy at all - I highly recommend you watch the 2 min video. The diagram/instructions are hidden inside the column. They are not very detailed. First you attach the legs with an Allen wrench (those you need to put the two washers and hex nuts on each of the 4 long screws individually.) Then- I was a bit confused about why it looked like there were already assembled bolt sets of 4 and then already assembled bolts sets of 8 that looked identical. The 4 piece bolt set anchors the long rectangular piece to the top of the column. Then you flip it over to the top of the table. The 8 piece bolt set secures the column/legs to the top. Obviously you assemble everything upside down. Make sure the two slot movable pieces have the holes facing up, as you'll use those to pull out to hold leafs up. The only tool not provided is a small philips head screwdriver. The table itself is heavy and sturdy, as are the chairs. Very happy with the product and price for 3 pieces. Highly recommend!
