Easy to put together, top glides up and down very easily. But.... My little rescue dog won't go in it. Too big of a change for him at this time. Putting it up for a few months then will try putting it up in a corner so he can investigate it. Crate is very well made.

We had a giant crate for our 5.9-pound Chihuahua and needed to downsize. I still wanted a furniture-style crate and this did the trick. I’m taking off one star because surprisingly, it comes in a zillion different pieces and has to be assembled. I expected the assembly, I just didn’t expect there to be so many pieces for such a simple rectangular design. But I put it together myself with no issues. Just took longer than I had expected. The quality is good as long as your dog is calm and not destructive. Our Chihuahua just uses the crate to sleep in at night or to contain him when a repair or maintenance person comes. The bars are pretty solid and the dog seems to like it. People have complimented its design. I love that the door folds up and out of the way as we live in a small house and need all the space we can get. Other than the assembly being a little bit more of a pain in the butt than I expected, it’s a great little dog crate.
