It took me a bit of time to put this together since I was doing it solo, but I finished it all in one afternoon. It feels sturdy enough, and we've got a microwave and a big coffee maker on it along with a pressure cooker. The top looks nice, but I'd suggest using something protective if you're putting down anything hot or wet. The drawers slide really smoothly and can fit a good amount of stuff. Even though it's marketed for bigger dogs, I wouldn't recommend it for anything larger than medium. Our two dachshunds fit perfectly in their kennels, and they seem to enjoy the space.

Ok, so I have two rescues- a pit bull and a dog that looks like Benji. They escape everything and leave nuggets on my carpet and puddles of regret for me to clean up. So I was really afraid to order this because it's several hundred dollars and I'm a teacher without that kind of luxury but I took the leap and bought it bc I purchased new carpet and I'm not going to let it get messed. I am happy to report that not only was my teenage daughter able to assemble this entire pooch palace on her own, but also it is sturdy; my robust pittie can't get out and my sneaky terrier is stuck in a safe and comfy space when we run errands. They have plenty of room, I can put a dog bed in each side of the kennel. They even are less anxious when I leave and don't attack the door barking now because they are in their safe space instead of free roaming when we are out. My new carpet keeps clean, no doggie doo left for me to clean up after a long day. Plus I can use the top to put folded laundry or place frames of my kiddos like a nice piece of furniture. I highly recommend this product and am very happy with the purchase.
