Very lightweight. Some dogs will chew through wood if left alone.
It took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes to put this together. Assembly was easy, butTime consuming. Some of the instructions weren’t clear. As a matter of fact, you have to rely on “feel” when assembling. Once assembled, it looks really nice. I was surprised how extremely light this crate weighed. The included cushion is a very nice feature. My dog enjoys staying inside when he is around people, but when we leave him in there alone and lock him up, he will tear into the wooden bars. As a matter of fact, one of the wooden bars is half torn up from my dog chewing on it while we left him locked up inside alone. So I don’t recommend leaving your dog in here alone.

Cute Frenchie crate!
Very aesthetic, cozy, and functional dog crate/bed. I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars because although the majority of the crate was easy to build, the picture instructions did include any words and the steps for the door was unnecessarily confusing as they did not include the lock on the drawings or tell you which side was top or bottom. Essentially you have to reverse engineer it with putting the clicky push pins in the arch pieces first, and then add your vertical door slats with the piece attached to the lock at the end so it can insert into the largest hole. My Frenchie fits perfectly and my toddlers love playing with it too. I saw some reviews mention damage from anxious dogs, fortunately mine are super mellow but I could see this not being suitable for rough wear and tear, just keep that in mind.

Cool little dog crate side table
I loved the idea of this table so much I had to give it a try for my little dog visitors! It was quick and easy to put together. A piece was broken off at the top of the door, but not a functional issue or anywhere load bearing, in fact not even too noticeable, so a little wood glue set it in place. I do think the wood looks unfinished, and will likely stain and seal it later. The little round bed is great and fits perfectly inside. For a small dog well trained and comfortable in crates, the combination makes for a cozy safe space that doubles as a functional tabletop. However I would not recommend it for nervous pups because a small head could get stuck in the bars, the soft wood would be susceptible to chewing, accidents would be impossible to clean well, and the latch is not very secure. My dog is happy in crates but can definitely figure out how to lift the little tab and open the door on her own. So definitely consider your pup and needs to see if this is a good fit. If so it’s a neat little piece of furniture! I could see it being a fun place for kids to store stuffed animals, too.

A Stylish Crate That's Perfect for Visiting Grandma's House
We have a little Maltese who is crate trained, but because our family has been traveling quite a bit, she has been spending time with relatives. I ordered this for my mother-in-law's house so our dog will have a familiar, comfortable place to sleep whenever she's there. I really like that this doesn't look like a traditional wire crate. Instead, it doubles as an attractive piece of furniture that can be used as an end table or small coffee table while still giving our dog her own cozy space. The included round bed is a nice bonus and fits the crate perfectly. Assembly does take a little time, and the picture-only instructions could be clearer, especially when putting the door together. Once assembled, though, it has a clean, attractive appearance and blends into the room much better than a standard dog crate. I would recommend this for dogs that are already crate trained and comfortable relaxing in their crate. If you have a dog that is prone to chewing or trying to escape, this probably isn't the best choice since the wood could become damaged over time. For a calm, well-behaved small dog like ours, however, it's a wonderful option. Overall, this is a clever combination of pet furniture and home décor. Our Maltese will now have a comfortable place to stay whenever she visits Grandma's house, and we couldn't be happier with it.

Nice looking dog crate that doubles as furniture. It even comes with a bed!
Overall this dog crate/table is a cool addition. The assembly was a little challenging. The directions were essentially a series of picture with no accompanying verbiage to help make clearer. Some of the steps were fairly straight forward and some required a bit more thinking. And I made the mistake of using a screw gun to put in the screws and some went through to the top slightly. I backed them out and you can't see them any longer but can see marks where they came through. I wish the directions would have warned about the use of power tools since an extra centimeter was too much. We can survive that since I plan to stain it a dark color to match the other furniture and I'll repair prior to staining. Our dog, who is used to going into his crate, went right in. The crate came with a round dog bed which is a nice addition and fits perfectly. The dog bed pictured is his existing bed that he is used to. We will likely swap out beds in the near future after he has used the new crate a few time. However, our other dog loves the bed. She gives the little round bed four paws up. In summary, it looks nice. The assembly had some challenges but doable. (Don't use a screw gun to put the screws in.) I'm hoping our little guy who still has a lot of puppy in him doesn't decide to chew on the slats. So far so good with his new little house.
