Sturdy cage, plenty of room for a large dog

Sturdy crate that works great. It fits in a bunch of different spots around the house, and my two dogs actually use it without complaint. Assembly wasn't a problem at all. The boards on the top and bottom are heavy, so having help makes it easier, but you can do it solo if you need to. Everything lined up fine, no frustrations there. I also dig that the bars have metal framing around them instead of just leaving bare wood exposed. A lot of other crates don't do that, so this helps keep chewers from tearing the wood up. Wouldn't trust it with a dog that's seriously destructive, but the enclosed design and solid top give it a cave-like feel that dogs seem to prefer—they get that cozy, private vibe that helps them chill out.

I just finished putting this together, and it took me nearly 3 hours on my own, so definitely grab a buddy to help. It’s heavy, so just moving it inside the house was a challenge. It looks like it's going to be a solid crate, but when I flipped it over, one of the wheels came loose. The part inside the metal frame that keeps the wheel in place fell out.
