We’re crate training our older dog after a surgery that needs him to be crated. I swapped out my bedside stand for this crate, and the size is perfect—not just for him, but for keeping my essentials right next to me in bed! He’s adjusted well to it, and it looks great. Easy to assemble too! A quick wipe with a soft cloth makes it look nice. The pad it comes with is a bit on the thin side, so if you want something more cushy, you might want to pick up an additional pad. But because of his surgery, the thinner pad works just fine right now. Once he’s all healed up, I might look for something plusher. Just a heads up, this crate is better suited for potty trained dogs since it doesn’t have a removable bottom—if accidents are a concern, this might not be the best fit. Our dog is a 21lb westiepoo.
