We’re crate training our older dog after his surgery, and this crate has been perfect. The size is just right, giving him enough space and letting me keep my essentials close by while I sleep. While the included pad is a bit thin, it's actually working out for us due to his needs post-surgery. Just a heads up, this crate is better for dogs that are already potty trained since it doesn't have a removable bottom. Our dog is a 21lb westiepoo mix.
