This is a wonderful carpet for the front door or back door entrance way. Perfect thickness door doesn’t drag across the top of the carpet. Vacuum’s beautifully! Have not had to wash yet…..

My dog definitely approves this rug. It is better than I expected as it shows hair but not as bad as other rugs I have. I have this in front of a door that doesn't get a lot of heavy traffic so it hasn't been put to the ultimate test to see just how much dirt it traps. I also haven't washed it yet so can't speak to how it holds up to that. I'm not sure I would put it thru the dryer only because I'd be concerned with the backing breaking up but that's just me. I have a pretty strong vacuum cleaner and fortunately it doesn't want to eat this but I can really only go forward with it and then have to pull it off, drop it and go forward again. I definitely can't do a forward/backward motion because it does start sucking it up. It is well made and lays flat with no curling and it does tend to stay in place and it's soft to walk on unlike other dirt trapper rugs I have that have a rough feel to them. I only wish it were heavier so I can vacuum it normal.
