This compact mirror from Hawkins Woodshop is a nice piece. It's double sided with 1X and 2X magnification, and at 2.7" high and 0.3" thick it's genuinely compact. It is glitter and an epoxy over to reinforce but give it a smooth strong hand feel. It has a nice hinge that allows for the compact to open and close smoothly with a soft magnetic closure to prevent fingers from being pinched. It is pretty, clean and easy to use. The mirror itself provides a clean distoration free reflection, there is zero cloudiness and I am surprised by how high quality the reflection is with the affordableness. Of this compact. The 2X reflective side is not a huge difference but enough to provide medium sized reflections for slightly finer but not fine detail. I like the pretty glitter a d the smooth hand feel (but not slippery), overall it feels stronger and sturdy that it would withstand light drops and steps. I highly recommend it for on the go appearance checks without being too cumbersome and for that true reflection.
