I was expecting it to have a ton of steps and hardware to put together but it was actually really easy and straightforward directions. Took me maybe 5 to 7 mins to put together (with both my toddlers helping). It's not super heavy and seems pretty sturdy and it came with a lot of extra screws which is a plus!
