Better Than Expected, But Darker Than the Picture
I was pretty skeptical buying such a large piece of furniture from Hawkins Woodshop, but I'm really happy with my purchase! The drawers are sooo big and sturdy, the "wood" quality is decent, and I get a lot of compliments on it. The drawers glide and close very nicely. The color, however, is darker than the picture. Expect a dark walnut, rather than a mid-tone like the photos. But honestly, even though it doesn't perfectly match the wood in my room, I can overlook it because it's still so pretty. It took me 4 hours to assemble by myself, and it was pretty easy, just make sure you follow the instructions.

Perfect Instructions, nice looking furniture!
I was very hesitant to order a piece of furniture online as I am not the best at assembling. I've done it but my son who is now gone from home many years always did it for me, and my husband doesn't have the patience. I have power tools now, plus the reviews said it was easy to put together so I took a chance! After I had all the pieces laid out, I had 51 pieces of wood and 257 screws, I thought I was in over my head!! But..... At the end of the day all I had left to do was put in the drawers!! I will say I was only able to complete the assembly of this dresser due to the amazing instruction maual. See photo below. Large color pictures. I also had a fear of the drawers not going in straight even though there was only one way the brackets could be screwed on. When all was said and done the drawers went in beautifully and closed just like they should. I got many compliments on it. I would definitely by pieces of this brand in the future!!

Decent dresser but drawers fall opens
We got this for my mom for her closet. She just moved in with us and needed More storage in the closet. Came in a ton of pieces!! The drawers like to fall open, the reason I took one star off. It holds quite a bit of stuff.

Stylish, good quality, but get a second set of hands for initial assembly
Very stylish and sturdy dresser. It took me a while to assemble this on my own. It would be much easier with two people, partly because certain parts are quite heavy (which, in the long run, is a good thing because it makes the dresser sturdy). I personally had no issues with drawer alignment. They close very smoothly and look evenly positioned in the dresser. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. There were a few spare screws just in case. I am very happy with the dresser.
