It stands 28.81 inches tall, right between nightstand and console height, so the top stays usable for a lamp, a phone, keys, or a short stack of books.

Call it whatever the room needs. As a dresser it takes folded clothes. As a nightstand it puts your essentials within arm's reach of the pillow. Pushed against the arm of a sofa it works as an end table. Set inside a closet it becomes the drawer bank the closet never had. The three drawers each measure 8.3 inches deep, and that is the number that matters most, because that depth swallows folded shirts and sweaters without pressing wrinkles into them. Four jobs out of one footprint is the entire argument for a cabinet this narrow.

The structure is metal rather than particleboard dressed up as wood.
