I was looking for something to raise my screens to eye level since my monitor and laptop were just sitting on the table. My posture was taking a hit! I found myself leaning in closer, and it was definitely not a good look. I wasn't sure if three inches would be enough lift, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got it set up. It was just right to keep me from leaning forward. Plus, I like the little storage spots underneath; it made my workspace feel nicer. Putting it together was straightforward and took me about 20-30 minutes—maybe even a bit less. It’s not a complicated setup at all. I saw someone mention problems with the wood cracking if you over-tighten, but I think they must’ve cranked down on it. Just don’t overdo it, and you should be fine. This stand puts my screens at the height, though I guess it also depends on how tall your desk and chair are. I opted not to attach the swivel pieces since I didn’t want to limit how far I could adjust the stands, and it still feels solid. I don't think it's gonna fall apart anytime soon. I even added a picture showing one of the slots with my iPad to give you an idea. I've gotta say, no more hunching for me! I would recommend this—it's affordable, easy to put together, and feels decent. It does exactly what it says!

Just What I Needed!

I wasn't sure if three inches was enough, but after putting it together, I was happily surprised! It keeps me from leaning forward and those little storage spaces underneath are a nice touch. I saw one review about the wood cracking where the screws go, but I think that person must have over-tightened because this thing is sturdy. Just don’t overdo it with the screws, and you’ll be fine. It puts my screens at eye level, which is great. I opted not to use the swivel pieces since they limit the stand's length adjustments, but it still works well. Raised my monitors and organized my desk
I bought this because I liked the idea of not only getting my monitors to a better height, but because it offered storage. I have a set up that lets me switch from my work laptop to my personal tower-style pc using the same monitors (I use an hdmi 4x2 switch to save me from having to crawl under the desk). When I'm working, my personal keyboard and mouse can be tucked away neatly but still accessible if I want to game on my lunch or right after work. There's space for my hdmi switch and more counter space for my calendar, phone charger, etc. My cables are out of sight and out of my way. I like how much this raises my monitors. One is pretty old and doesn't go up and down anymore and it's nice to only need one dictionary instead of a pile of them. I work hybrid and use my own monitors to extend my work computer. When I'm not working, I use the same monitors for my personal computer. The space underneath allows me to store the peripherals for whichever computer I'm not using along with my hdmi 4x2 switch, my glasses, and other bits and bobs that would take up space on my desk. I like the rail for my phone (though it doesn't fit my iPad) and the extra counter space for my calendar, soundbar and clock. It was easy to put together (think a really small ikea book shelf) and I like the stability of the metal pegs keeping the three platforms together. If you have a smaller space, you won't be able to use the pegs, but it still feels very solid. Much more solid than books piled up to raise my monitor.

Best thing in my opinion is it came with 1 extra piece of all the hardware. No worries about having to reach out for missing items or dropping something.
