I was building my second sit-to-stand desk for my home. Both desks have a ikea Karlby countertop (74x25) as a desktop. The first desk I purchased an Autonomous 2-stage diy Kit... And have been very happy with it. It's been rock solid since 2021. I honestly planned to reorder another one for the second desk. Their diy kit is now $499.99. Eek. So I did some quick Hawkins Woodshop research and landed on this Huuger frame. The Huuger frame at the 120-150 price was worth the risk. I ordered it and it arrived promptly. Assembly was very straight forward and took about only about 30 minutes with taking my time! This unit is solid but not as solid as the autonomous diy kit. But for almost a $400 difference in price, I am willing to accept it being a bit less solid. The desk as a whole wobbles a bit more at the lower position and also more at the higher position compared to the autonomous diy kit but the Huuger unit is still stable and solid. The motors on the Huuger frame are significantly quieter than the autonomous frame. It lifts a bit slower bit I am very happy with it as it seems smoother as it moves up and down. Very happy with the purchase... I will update this review over time and compare and contrast it to the autonomous diy kit.

Really cool product, being able to raise and lower the height is a game changer.
I was surprised how well built this was. I made a computer desk that can be used for sitting or standing for my son who works from home on his computer. I liked it so much I ordered a second one and made one for myself as well. I will say that on the one I built for myself, I used a larger table top and kind of pushed the boundaries, and while it still works, it is a little wobbly. I don't blame the product though. I used a butcher block for my desktop and it's 36"x70"x 1.5". It's heavy! So in the future I'd stick to something a little smaller. But it's fine the way it is and for what I use it for.

Great desk legs! Build your standing desk on a budget
The media could not be loaded. Very nice quality electric standing desk. I almost decided to purchase a really expensive set from another site but decided to give these a try. I mounted a 1” thick butcher block table top along with 2x 32” monitors, under desk mount pc, plus all my accessories. I also almost always play with my feet propped up on the desk. These legs are sturdy,If you raise it all the way up it will wobble but that’s the nature of a 2 post standing desk.
