This little bench has been perfect as a vanity stool for me given its height. It's attractive and sturdy, although on the smaller side. I'd purchase it again, just keep in mind it might not be the best fit for heavier individuals.

I'm really pleased with this bench! It's comfortable and the right height for using with my Yamaha P-85 digital piano on the L-85 Keyboard stand. It was fairly easy to assemble alone, though having an extra pair of hands would have helped. The packaging was great, and I appreciated that the seat and top came pre-assembled. All the legs were tucked inside the seat along with all the hardware, including bolts and a wrench for tightening everything. I wouldn't call it a duet bench for two adults—it's a bit short for that—but it's sturdy for one person. There were plastic pins on the bottoms of the wooden legs, but I added felt pads to protect my hardwood floors. The flip top is, and I can fit almost all my music books in there. Happy with my purchase!

Great Bench for My Kid
So far, this bench is working well for my 8-year-old. She’s used it a couple of times since we put it together yesterday. The assembly was pretty straightforward, but if you have larger hands, you might find the tight space a bit tricky. My fingers hit the corners a little, but that wasn’t a big deal for me since mine are small. The bench feels sturdy, and all the legs are even, so it sits solidly on the floor. The storage area is a bit limited; it fits two John Thompson Music Theory books lengthwise, and just barely accommodates them widthwise with a bit of extra space. A half-inch thick binder fits well with a couple of thin books on top. I added a liner in the storage compartment to prevent the black dye from staining the music books. The lid shuts smoothly, and my daughter loves that it’s nice and quiet when it closes. I appreciate the air gap between the storage and the lid too. It did have a smell when I first unpacked it, but it's fading. The packaging was good for shipping, but one leg had a slight scratch, and I had to clean it a bit since it was pretty dirty when I took it out; I think it was just some dye residue. Overall, once cleaned up, the bench works great and looks nice!
