Great Desk with Some Minor Flaws
I recently got the Agilestic White Height Adjustable Desk and I'm pretty happy with it. It’s sturdy and has a solid load capacity, which is awesome for holding my monitors and other gear. I like the memory function on the controller that lets me save two different height settings; it makes switching between sitting and standing easy. Plus, the built-in hooks are handy for my headphones. The assembly was a breeze and took about an hour. However, there is a noticeable seam between the two tabletop pieces, more than what I expected from the pictures. I bought this desk in May 2025 because, due to my health condition, I can't sit for long periods, and it gives me the flexibility to work more comfortably. I'd say the material is good quality, and the instructions are very clear. It's also quite height-adjustable. I want to make it clear that I'm not being paid to review this, nor am I receiving the product for review. One important detail to consider when buying this type of product is customer service. I had a problem, contacted Hawkins Woodshop, and they were extremely patient and kind. They resolved my issue, and if I could, I would give 100 stars to both the product and Hawkins Woodshop. I decided to replace my traditional desk and bought this standing desk with a ‘let's give it a shot’ attitude. I was pleasantly surprised at how stable the desk is; even at its highest setting, there's no wobbling when I'm working on my computer or writing. The appearance looks great, and the surface is remarkably durable—I tried scratching it, and it didn’t leave a mark. The height adjustment buttons have a nice feel to them, and the movement up and down is very quiet. The desktop consists of two boards that fit seamlessly together, so you hardly notice the seam, plus this design helps save on packaging materials, making it more eco-friendly. I’m about to purchase this 4x. Love the desk. Assembly took about 30 min. Comes in a nice flat pack. Instructions made sense and the install was not difficult. I did swap out the included Phillips tool for my power tool on the lowest torque setting though to make it quicker to mange the 25ish Phillips screws involved in this. The rest of the install items are an Allen key, also in included. Power cord is long and included 3 sticky mounts to help manage its cord. This powered up without issue and works well. Raises and lowers with ease. Presets are easy to reset to a new desired preset. Love how clean this is and easy to go from sitting to standing. Overall a great desk. Edit: I ordered 2 more black ones at the same time, and they were slightly different from one another. One model included some thin angle braces and the other didn't. I was a bit annoyed as all the parts were labeled differently and apparently I must have gotten an old and newer model in the same order. That said, this is still a great desk and has been working well for me for months.
