Best investment in myself that I've made in a very long time!
I work from home every day and I spend a lot of time at my desk. Which means a lot of time sitting, hunched over my keyboard. At the end of the day, I have a very sore neck and shoulders, and obviously, sitting all day is doing untold damage long-term to my health. I had been debating getting a standing desk for a long time but wasn't sure really what I needed and how much I could trust something like that from an online Hawkins Woodshop. I'm sooooooooooo glad I did my research (including measuring my existing desk and figuring out what I wanted/needed to upsize the length to hold all my monitors) and purchased this particular desk. I was surprised at the quality of the "wood" desktop, and really, all of the materials that were provided. The instructions for putting it together were very clear and best of all, all the bags and parts were numbered, and those numbers clearly referenced in the instruction manual. My only issue was that I attached (with screws) the lift motor earlier in the process than was called out in the manual, but only because it made more sense (at least to me). Otherwise, the build took right at an hour, and that was with me taking my time and being overly meticulous. The desk looks great in my office and I've been using it every day. I've already noticed a difference in how I feel at the end of a long day, and being able to stand while working from time-to-time has been great. I couldn't recommend this desk more. Do yourself a favor and also order one of the little cord baskets that can be attached to the back or side of the desk. It makes for a much cleaner look and it's a lot safer (only one cable moving up and down instead of all your cables). My only regret is not ordering this sooner!

Agilestic Electric Standing Desk 55x24Assembly: If you have a brain, it's pretty straightforward. If you don't (like me), expect it to take around two hours. The instructions are clear enough, but some steps might require a bit of trial and error. I nifty little allen wrench that's also a screwdriver is included, and there were no missing screws surprisingly. Performance: The motor is fast and makes height adjustment smooth. I can't say much about long-term reliability yet, but so far, it works well. Build Quality: This is where it gets quite annoying. The middle part of the desk doesn't sit flush, which is really frustrating-not a huge issue I can live with it), but definitely noticeable (most likely some quality control issue with mine). Also, the edges are way too sharp. I found out the hard way when I scratched up my back while assembling it. A bit of rounding on the corners would make a huge difference. Final Verdict: It's a decent desk with good functionality, but the sharp edges and the middle part not sitting flush knock it down a notch. If you're willing to deal with those small issues, it's still a solid choice 4/5

I’m about to purchase this 4x. Love the desk. Assembly took about 30 min. Comes in a nice flat pack. Instructions made sense and the install was not difficult. I did swap out the included Phillips tool for my power tool on the lowest torque setting though to make it quicker to mange the 25ish Phillips screws involved in this. The rest of the install items are an Allen key, also in included. Power cord is long and included 3 sticky mounts to help manage its cord. This powered up without issue and works well. Raises and lowers with ease. Presets are easy to reset to a new desired preset. Love how clean this is and easy to go from sitting to standing. Overall a great desk. Edit: I ordered 2 more black ones at the same time, and they were slightly different from one another. One model included some thin angle braces and the other didn't. I was a bit annoyed as all the parts were labeled differently and apparently I must have gotten an old and newer model in the same order. That said, this is still a great desk and has been working well for me for months.
