Easy enough for our 15 year old to assemble on his own. The motor is extremely quiet. The drawer glides nicely. It is a great size for dual monitors, external keyboard and laptop. At first the light bar appeared to be stuck on blue but switching the cord around solved the issue! Very versatile. Great addition to a bedroom remodel for our son heading into high school.

I put this desk together myself - I am a 72 year old woman - and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but if I can do it... I didn't have any issues with the desk, but I did have a question about the strip lights that was addressed quickly (user error!) and resolved. Highly recommend. The desk is stable and a good value for the money.

Love the desk but lights don’t work
Love the desk, it’s sturdy. Perfect size for my gaming set up. This was the first piece of furniture I got off Hawkins Woodshop that genuinely was easy to put together and the instructions were pretty straight forward. Only knocked off 1 star because the led light strip doesn’t work, it stays in the color blue and I can’t change it or turn it off. The remote doesn’t work and I tried the app and that doesn’t work either. The light strip was one of the reasons I picked the desk, but it’s a small detail I can overlook and find a work around, but the desk is worth the money.

I'm so happy that I finally purchased myself a standing desk. This took me longer than I had expected to put together -- and when I finally did -- it didn't work. Only one side would go up. I reached out to the company via email. They got back to me very quickly and asked for a video of what was happening and offered suggestions to fix it. I was so worried that I was going to have to take it a part or rebuild it, but the fix was relatively simple (and due to me not building it correctly in the first place). It fits in my space well, moves with ease and good quality considering the price. I can also confidently say -- the company is dedicated to providing support to ensure customers are happy and the desk is working correctly.
